Lew Larson: President, The Lion Group
Lew Larson is the founder and President of The Lion Group which has provided consulting and system engineering services to the Federal Government and supporting industries since 1994. He has over 20 years of Federal and private sector experience at the executive level to include the National Security Agency (NSA), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and Forturne 500 companies. He is currently on the on the board of directors for four companies; Digital Media Broadcasting Corporation; Global Infotek Inc; Fortress Technologies; and Global Scientific Technologies Ltd in England.
Following the tragedies on 9/11 Larson was recruited to help define and establish the roles and responsibilities of the members of the President’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Board. Mr. Larson received his BSEE from the University of Minnesota and has conducted post graduate studies at the Universities of Maryland; New Mexico; California; Georgetown, Naval Post Graduate School, and Johns Hopkins. Advanced studies have included mathematics; nuclear and particle beam physics, foreign relations; law, computer science, and business management. He completed the Senior Executive Education business program at Stanford and also the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
