Dennis McLain: Vice President of Business Development

Dennis McLain is responsible for business development at Fortress Technologies, leading a team focused on business strategy, strategic partnerships, and market development.  Dennis also works closely with the CTO and the Fortress engineering organization to identify opportunities in new and emerging wireless technologies.

Before joining Fortress Technologies, McLain held a variety of positions in his 19 yearsat Sun Microsystems Federal, including CTO, DoD Marketing, defense and intelligence business development, and R&D programs.  A Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a BS in Engineering Management, he also earned a Master of Science in Business Administration with a major in Computers and Information Systems from UCLA, and a Ph.D. in Management and Information Science from the University of California, Berkeley.  A career military officer, he retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel and Command Pilot, and received 19 decorations and awards, including the Distinguished Flying Cross, Defense Superior Service Medal, and Four Air Medals.
