Richard Condon: CEO and Chairman of the Board

Richard Condon is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board of Fortress Technologies, where he is responsible for the company's overall strategic direction. Condon joined Fortress in 2007 and was instrumental in positioning the company for expansive growth. Building on the company's market success and industry-leading solutions, Richard now leads Fortress in building a strong and successful organization.

Condon's background encompasses leadership roles in successful technology companies, including start-ups and early stage companies as well as executive positions with larger companies such as Warner Lambert and Colgate-Palmolive. With extensive experience in technology markets, Condon has proven experience leading organizations to meet their strategic objectives.

Janet Kumpu: President

Janet Kumpu joined Fortress in 1997 and served as both CFO and VP Operations prior to being named President in 2004. She was instrumental in changing the strategic direction of the company, recapitalizing Fortress and focusing the company on secure wireless networking. Kumpu's strategic vision and leadership has been integral to the pioneering technology, product development and market success of Fortress. She now leads this innovative company in expanding its market leadership through strategic partnerships, technology advancements and global expansion.

Prior to Fortress, Kumpu held various executive positions in the information technology industry with a long tenure at Digital Equipment Corporation (Digital). She has more than 18 years of management experience with positions in business operations, strategic planning, finance, and business consulting. During her management career at Digital she served in various roles including Senior Finance and Operations Manager driving the North American Personal Computer Business Unit from inception to $4 billion in annual revenues. She also contributed to the successful entry of Digital into the PC market by establishing a distribution and channel sales model that led to its successful market expansion.

Kurt Krueger: Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development

As Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, Kurt Krueger provides federal market, strategy, and business development leadership at Fortress. Kurt brings in-depth experience in leading start-up and established enterprise organizations, as well as a history of helping companies expand their presence in the federal market.

Prior to joining Fortress, Krueger served as Vice President and General Manager of BT INS Federal, President and CEO of Midatlantic Strategic Consulting, Inc., and Sales Director of Enterasys Networks. Krueger has also held numerous other leadership positions in the technology field with companies such as Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, and Bell Atlantic Network Integration. He has over 20 years of network, security, and communications industry experience.

Dana Kuntz: Vice President of Federal Sales

Dana Kuntz leads the federal sales team at Fortress focusing on government, military, and civilian agencies. Since joining Fortress in 2003, she has been responsible for wins in the Department of Defense and the civilian sector that have accounted for the majority of revenue at Fortress.

With over a decade of sales leadership experience providing IT security solutions to the federal market; Kuntz brings to Fortress an extensive background in the areas of government relations, strategic planning and industry partnerships. Prior to Fortress, Kuntz held senior account management roles at both Cylink and Solsoft where she was the top producing account manager.

Owais Hassan: Vice President of Engineering

Owais Hassan is responsible for all engineering, QA and development at Fortress, where his expertise has led to the development and delivery of Fortress's wireless infrastructure and security products.

Owais has more than fifteen years of industry experience in the design and implementation of advanced networking equipment and hard real-time embedded systems. He has served with leading companies, including Legra Systems, Sycamore Networks and FORE Systems, and has held senior engineering positions at both start-up and large companies. Most recently, he was the Founding Director of Hardware Engineering at Legra Systems, where he led the development of Wi-Fi switch, radio and wireless security technologies and delivered the WLAN Switch in record time. Prior to Legra, Owais developed Sycamore Networks' 10G PHY, SONET and FEC technologies and delivered its carrier-class Transport Switch with a capacity of 160Gbps. At FORE, he developed the very first OC-48c ATM Port in the industry, developed packet forwarding and traffic engineering technologies and contributed to the development of FORE's award-winning ASX family of Internet Switches (10G to 40G). Owais holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from West Virginia University.

Magued Barsoum: Chief Technical Officer

Magued Barsoum is the Chief Technical Officer at Fortress Technologies, responsible for the overall corporate technical direction as well system architecture.

Prior to joining Fortress Technologies, Barsoum was a Principal Architect with EZchip Technologies, focusing on next generation chip architectures as well as system designs around the EZchip product family. As Principal Systems Architect at Quarry Technologies he focused on the packet-forwarding path of the iQ4000/iQ8000 Services Edge Switches. Barsoum has also held engineering positions working on DSLAMs at both US Robotics and 3Com. He holds a B.Sc. and M.S. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MA from Brandeis University, and has earned credit towards the completion of a Ph.D. as a Guggenheim Fellow at California Institute of Technology.
